Here are Madison’s Daily Announcements for Friday, Oct. 5:

  • Madison is hosting 30 Korean Students on Thursday, Oct. 11. If you would like to volunteer to escort these students, please see Mr. Buckley in the Counseling Office. Students should be in grades 10-12 in order to volunteer.
  • Attention Seniors: There will be a competition between senior Warhawk Time classes to see which class gets all of their senior dues in first. The winning class will receive a breakfast during a future Warhawk Time. Senior dues are $135 and can be paid online at www.myschoolbucks.com or by check made to JMHS Class of 2019. Checks need to be handed to Ms. Noyes in Room 150A.
  • On PSAT day, Wednesday, Oct. 10, seniors are to report to the cafeteria no later than 9:15 a.m. to complete their cap and gown sizing. Requirements for graduation will be discussed. Chick-fil-A breakfast will be served.
  • Upcoming College Visits are on Naviance through Blackboard.
  • Support the Junior Class SGA on Monday, Oct. 8 at Chipotle from 4 to 8 p.m. All proceeds will go to this year’s prom.

Club Meetings:

  • The Literary Arts Magazine is looking for new Officers and members. They will have an interest meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
  • Madison Minds Matter: $15 dues for t-shirts are due by Friday, Oct. 5 in Room 154 or in Room 164. Even if you have not attended a meeting, you are still able to purchase a t-shirt to support the cause.
  • Senior Class T-Shirt design contest has started. Submissions are due to Room 150A or email them to Ms. Noyes by Nov. 7. Winner will receive a Dunkin Donuts gift card.
