The National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Date for Division I sports this year was today, Nov. 14. Three Madison soccer players signed their letters, including Faith Lee (’19), Julia Leas (’19) and Ryan Levay (’19). Lee and Leas have been on Varsity Girls Soccer since they were freshmen, and Levay has been on Varsity Boys Soccer since his sophomore year. All three athletes signed their NLIs during Warhawk Time, with the girls in the Cafeteria and Levay in Warhawk Hall.

Lee will continue her soccer career at the Air Force Academy, Leas will play at Georgetown University and Levay will compete at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Although other athletes from the Class of 2019 will be college athletes next year, these three were the only ones to sign today. The NLIs that they each signed today serve as a binding agreement of their commitments to play Division I soccer at their respective schools next year. They will all finish their Madison soccer careers in the upcoming spring sports season.
