Emily Shambaugh was born in Washington, D.C. and will be graduating as a senior in the summer of 2017. She is in her fourth year of journalism in high school, and has served as a Staff Reporter, In-Depth Editor and Editor In Chief of The Hawk Talk. Outside of school, Emily pursues her passions through backpacking, travel, coffee and interesting conversation. She is excited to make her mark on the paper.
