Here are Madison’s Daily Announcements for Monday, Oct. 1:

  • Parking on campus is officially by permit only.
  • Attention Seniors: There will be a competition between senior Warhawk Time classes to see which class gets all of their senior dues in first. The winning class will receive a breakfast during a future Warhawk Time. Senior dues are $135 and can be paid online at www.myschoolbucks.com or by check made to JMHS Class of 2019. Checks need to be handed to Ms. Noyes in Room 150A.
  • The WINGS Internship Handbook is now available here.
  • On PSAT day, Wednesday, Oct. 10, seniors are to report to the cafeteria no later than 9:15 a.m. to complete their cap and gown sizing. Requirements for graduation will be discussed. Chick-fil-A breakfast will be served.
  • Upcoming College Visits are on Naviance through Blackboard.

Club Meetings:

  • National Science Honor Society applications are available outside of Room 212 and are due to Ms. Lazar by Tuesday, Oct. 2. You must be a current junior or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to apply.
  • Warhawk Best Buddies fundraiser at the Vienna Chipotle on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Mention the club at the register to donate to their funds.
  • Madison Swim and Dive Clinic with Olympic gold medalists on Saturday, Oct. 27 for all competitive swimmers at Madison. There will be a meeting in Room 123B on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 3:00 p.m. for an information meeting, or see Coach Foos.
  • DECA Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3 after school in Room 129A. Please bring $30 dues in cash or check payable to JMHS.
  • Senior Class T-Shirt design contest has started. Submissions are due to Room 150A or email them to Ms. Noyes by Nov. 7.
  • German Club interest meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3 after school in Room 120.
