Madison Daily Announcements: 10/3/2018

Here are Madison’s Daily Announcements for Wednesday, Oct. 3:

  • There is a lost and found in the Main Office for items that may have been lost at the Homecoming dance, including a few blazers. If you accidentally picked up someone else’s jacket, please bring it to the main office. Also, if you found a black jacket with car keys, please bring the keys to Room 222.
  • Three students have won contests during Madison’s Banned Book Week. Please stop by the library to receive your prize.
  • Warhawks who ride the bus should be aware that on Tuesday, Oct. 9, only the TV screens will be used for bus line ups.
  • APP Lab will be on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in the Career Center during both Warhawk Time and after school.
  • Attention Seniors: There will be a competition between senior Warhawk Time classes to see which class gets all of their senior dues in first. The winning class will receive a breakfast during a future Warhawk Time. Senior dues are $135 and can be paid online at www.myschoolbucks.com or by check made to JMHS Class of 2019. Checks need to be handed to Ms. Noyes in Room 150A.
  • On PSAT day, Wednesday, Oct. 10, seniors are to report to the cafeteria no later than 9:15 a.m. to complete their cap and gown sizing. Requirements for graduation will be discussed. Chick-fil-A breakfast will be served.
  • Upcoming College Visits are on Naviance through Blackboard.

Club Meetings:

  • Madison Minds Matter: $15 dues for t-shirts are due by Friday, Oct. 5 in Room 154 or in Room 164. Even if you have not attended a meeting, you are still able to purchase a t-shirt to support the cause.
  • French Club is having a crepe day on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in Room 125. Please bring $5 for dues.
  • Guitar Club interest meeting is on Wednesday, Oct. 3 after school in the Orchestra Room (13).
  • Madison Swim and Dive Clinic with Olympic gold medalists on Saturday, Oct. 27 for all competitive swimmers. There will be a meeting in Room 123B on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 3:00 p.m. for an information meeting, or see Coach Foos.
  • DECA Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3 after school in Room 129A. Please bring $30 dues in cash or check payable to JMHS.
  • Senior Class T-Shirt design contest has started. Submissions are due to Room 150A or email them to Ms. Noyes by Nov. 7. Winner will receive a Dunkin Donuts gift card.
  • German Club interest meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3 after school in Room 120.
