With the cold weather approaching, staying active can become a challenge. A fresh, fun way to burn calories is at SourceCore, a new fitness studio on Church Street, located on the right side behind where Nielsen’s Custard used to be. The studio offers a wide variety of different and expanding classes for all ages including Zumba, Barre Pilates Fusion, Work It Circuit, three different types of yoga.

The owner of SourceCore, Chris Jones, is a former runway model for major fashion brands Dior and Hermes, in Paris, and has been featured in French Vogue and Japanese GQ magazines. He is also a former yoga teacher certified by Hot8 in Beverly Hills.

“I opened SourceCore because I know my career purpose is to raise collective wellness in my community,” Jones said.  “I am so grateful that I can offer services that bring joy to our clients.  I’ve also always been attracted to the risk and excitement of owning my own business.”

The classes are taught by professionals from all over the world.  The Barre Pilates Fusion teacher is a former professional dancer from Sweden, the Zumba teacher is from Puerto Rico and the Sunday morning yoga teacher, from Russia, has been doing yoga since she was 3 years old.

As an introductory offer, the first week is free for all new clients. Single classes are $20 each, trying out the studio for 30 days is $30, and there are three different member packages to pick from that have reasonable rates compared to other gyms in the area.

“When compared to some other studios in the area we offer more variety for a more economical [pricing].  Most studios will only offer yoga, or only barre, or only cross-training.  We offer all of those disciplines for a more affordable rate in a beautiful and clean space.” Jones said.

This fresh new way to workout in downtown Vienna is sure to be a hit with fitness lovers, athletes and yogis alike. To sign up for SourceCore classes, visit www.soucrecorestudio.com or stop by the studio to meet Jones and the teachers. Maybe even join in on a class!
