Reston Town Center Ice Rink

Every year the Reston Town Center has a variety of Holiday events such as a Holiday Parade, tree lighting and sing along and ice skating, making it the perfect place to spend time with your friends and family.  The Ice Skating pavilion is open from 11:30 am to 9 pm during the week, and is open until 11 pm on Friday and Saturdays. The price of admission ranges from 9 dollars to 10 dollars depending on age. Don’t worry if you don’t have any skates, as you can rent skates for 7 dollars with over 500 pairs of skates available for rental. There are also Holiday performances December 4 at 11:00 a.m. The Ice Skating pavilion is open until March 12, 2023.

 

Meadowlark’s Winter Walk of Lights is a beautiful Holiday light display located in the Wolftrap area. The display is a half mile walk of lights with  holiday  themes and animated displays. It is a paved path that is wheelchair and stroller accessible, making it perfect for all ages . In addition to the light display there’s also a s’mores station at the end of the trail. Due to the rise in demand, during the prime nights of the year, December 8,2022 through January 8 2023, tickets are only available online. In order to ensure you are able to secure tickets, Meadowlark Botanical gardens recommends you buy your tickets beforehand.

 

The Mosaic District is hosting Merry Mosaic this year. Throughout December there will be many holiday activities and events in Mosaic District. These events include Meet and greets with Santa, which is perfect for families with little kids hoping to create lifelong memories. There will also be a Holiday Village powered by URBNMARKET, which is a great place to shop for gifts for your entire family and support small businesses. There will also be live entertainment and Christmas carolers making it the perfect place to celebrate the holidays with your family and friends.
