Emma Rooney was born in Fairfax, Virginia and she is currently a senior. She has been part of The Hawk Talk staff for three years and is currently Editor-in-Chief for the print edition of The Hawk Talk. She has been part of the staff since her sophomore year, having been both a Staff Reporter and In-Depth editor. Aside from journalism, Emma is the Communications Manager for the Amnesty International’s chapter at James Madison High School.
