It’s almost Valentine’s Day! It will certainly look and feel different this year, but there are still ways to celebrate the love and friendship in your life. Here are some ideas to help you find the perfect gift for your loved ones.

Chick-fil-A heart shaped tray

The famous saying goes “the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach.” Visit Chick-fil-A to buy a heart shaped tray of Chick-fil-A nuggets, Chick n Minis, Chocolate Chunk Cookies or Chocolate Fudge Brownie halves. Chick-fil-A will sell the tray beginning Monday, Jan. 25 through Saturday, Feb 13. Remember to pick up your tray before Valentine’s day because it falls on a Sunday, and Chick-fil-A will be closed.

Bring the social media trend to life for your friends. Give someone the experience of breaking a hollow chocolate heart to reveal a surprise inside like candy or a toy. This gift is perfect for a Galentine’s or anti-Valentine’s party to celebrate singlehood or overcome heartbreak. Many bakeries sell the hearts. Mixtape

Music is one of the best ways to express your emotions when words fail. Creating a mixtape will allow you to share your feelings in ways your vocabulary and money can’t. Compile songs that remind you of someone you love in a playlist. Here is a link to a playlist for some ideas.

Local small businesses

Shop small and buy sweet treats from Cocoa Vienna or Amphora Bakery. Pick up a book or small gift at Bards Alley. Check out the valentine specials at Bobby’s Bagel Cafe for a variety of festive baked goods.
